Caitlin Clark- Obama Tee

In class we saw some shirts with political messages, but this one stood out to me the most. I found it at UrbanOutfitters.com and I thought it was pretty ridiculous that the advertising for election has become so humorous and commercialized. There are no campaign promises or statistics, just a bold image representative of one of the most important events in our society. It's interesting to look back to outdated campaign buttons and compare them to today's tactics and choice of expression through t-shirts like this one.

There is also a retro feel to the design which is somewhat contradictory to what it is advertising... especially with the extremely modern ideas and candidates in this election. Nevertheless it achieves its purpose of being eye catching, humorous, and leaves an impression on the viewer.
